   It does not come apart

   The fox tail is sewn into the hat and does not detach. That single fact decides everything below: there is no way to wash the cotton without soaking the fur, so the hat is never washed.

2. 02

   Spot clean only

   Work on the cotton alone, with a barely damp cloth and cold water, and stop before the fabric is wet through. Keep water off the tail. Let it air dry flat, away from any heat.

3. 03

   After wearing

   Shake the tail out and brush it gently with a wide-tooth comb, always in the direction the fur falls. That is the whole routine and it is enough.

Wear it

Wear it in the cold and the rain, that is what it is for. Just do not put it in water on purpose, and do not try to take the tail off.
